Nikanihk Ohci is a Cree phrase, which means "for the future". The Nikanihk Ohci Foundation, Inc. (N.O.F.I.) supports students of the Frontier School Division throughout Manitoba in their post-secondary academic endeavours, as well as other worthy projects that further promote education in Frontier communities.  

This is why N.O.F.I. has decided to partner with the Whiteshell Daycare Co-operative in our joint mission to create a licensed daycare space for the community of Falcon Lake and surrounding area.  There is significant alignment between a healthy school system and access to childcare.  Both are vital to a thriving, vibrant community.  With licensed care in the community, ancillary programs such as before and after school care become more feasible.  Young families are encouraged to grow roots in a community that can meet all their needs. 

This valuable partnership will make it possible for 100% of donations made in the name of Whiteshell Daycare Co-Op to be eligible for a tax receipt.

Donors can write a cheque made out to Nikanihk Ohci Foundation, Inc. or N.O.F.I. for short and mail it to Frontier School Division at 200 - 1530 Gamble Place, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 1N6. 

Please provide a return address for the tax receipt.

Please be specific that the donation is for the Whiteshell Daycare.
